Stone Island Hand Painted Light David-TC Parka Grey. Crafted from lightweight David Light-TC, this padded short parka uses Japanese polyester and polyamide yarns with a distinctive star-shaped cross-section. Once assembled, the garment is dyed under pressure at 130°C, transforming the texture and feel of the fabric. Each piece is then painted by hand using sponges and brushes, blending two pigment tones with a polyurethane component to create a tactile finish that makes every jacket unique. An anti-drop treatment adds light weather protection, while the quilted padded lining provides warmth. The design is completed with Stone Island’s white Research badge, identifying the piece with the brand’s ongoing textile experimentation.
