Awake NY was born out of New York City in 2012, brainchild of Queens native Angelo Baque. A reflection of the five boroughs and the diversity that continues to define the city’s landscape. Early ’90s inspired, the brand features the eclecticness of downtown New York City with refined silhouettes and everyday basics. Community remains a core pillar at Awake NY and the label keeps on working with organizations both local and nationwide, providing support to underserved communities whenever possible. Awake NY consistently collaborates with a variety brands such as Levi’s, Carhartt WIP, ASICS, Vans, Nanamica, Reebok, Moncler and more.
